Wednesday 26 November 2025: Due to an issue with our database, the email traffic stopped today from 01:00 to 08:00 UTC. The issue was fixed and everything is now back to normal.

Wednesday 16 April 2025: The planned maintenance finished and the VBSpam network is up and running. However we are experiencing some issues to our databases causing traffic drop. We are working to bringing the traffic back.
Tuesday 15 April 2025: The VBSpamTest will be temporarily unavailable today because of a planned maintenance.
Thursday 20 February 2025: The test was suspended for 2 hours yesterday, 19 February, from 15:00 to 17:00 UTC. Now we see everything back to normal.

Tuesday 26 March 2024: During the last weekend 23-24 March, there was an issue with our server sidedoor.vbspamtest.com. This explains the lack of samples and the rejection of the emails sent to the server. The problem was fixed yesterday and now the test is running without any issues.

Monday 18 September 2023: During the weekend the emails flow stopped because of an issue with a VM in our network. The sending of emails resumed today around 07:00 UTC.

Monday 12 December 2022: Last Friday, 9th of December, from 07:00 to 16:00 UTC most of the email traffic went off because of database related issues on our side. Everything returned to normal after 16:00 UTC.

Friday 3 June 2022: Due to a maintenance process being performed this afternoon, some of the VMs were unavailable. Now everything is up and running.

Wednesday 9 February 2022: Because of some issues to our database, there is currently no email traffic. We are working to fix it and return as soon as possible with a status update.
Saturday 5 February 2022: The Q1 2022 VBSpam Test starts today. It is scheduled to run as usually for 16 days.
Tuesday 25 January 2022: As of 15:00 UTC, we have successfully ended configuring the test in the new data center. For the solutions that had issues, we directly contacted each client. Other than that, everything seems to be working well.
Tuesday 25 January 2022: Today 25 January starting from 11:00 UTC, we will start configuring the lab in the new data center. A downtime is expected so you will notice no email feed being sent to your server. After the configuration will be done, the new IP address from which the emails will be sent (the inbound IP address) will be 87.229.68.231
Monday 22 November 2021: The Q4 2021 VBSpam Test ended yesterday. Later today, the post-test feedback will be sent to all the participants.
Monday 23 August 2021: Yesterday was the last day of the Q3 VBSpam Test. It ran for 16 days starting with 7 August. Today we will send to you the post-test feedback.

Wednesday 9 June 2021: The maintenance process is rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 10th of June due to an incident reported by our cloud infrastructure provider. Meanwhile backend.vbspamtest.com is down. We'll keep you updated when it will be back online.
Tuesday 25 May 2021: Today, for a short time, one of our backend machines, sidedoor.vbspamtest.com, will be off due to maintenance.

Saturday 13 February 2021: The start of the first VBSpam Test of 2021. It is scheduled to end on 28 February. During this period of time the weekly feedback is not sent.
Monday 18 January 2021: The next official test is going to start on Saturday, 13 February, instead of Saturday, 6 February.
Monday 30 November: This is to inform you that mx.vbspamtest.com is up and running again.
Monday 30 November: We are currently experiencing some issues with our server, mx.vbspamtest.com and no emails are sent at the moment. We will keep you updated when the test will resume.
Thursday 26 November: The November test has ended yesterday at 23:59 GMT. The post-test feedback, with the results, will be sent as soon as possible.
Thursday 12 November: The current test will be extended with 3 days due to a bug on the HELO domain that we discovered and fixed. So the last day of the test is scheduled to be Wednesday, 25 November.

Thursday 6 February: The last weekly feedback, before the start of the test on Saturday 8 February, was sent today. The next one will be sent after 24 February and will cover the testing period.
